Mico Jelic Grnovic
It is a great honor to me and for our website to be able to present these works of such a talented and colorful man as Mico. Through his paintings, music and poems we hope to be able to give you a look into his life’s works.
This will be a new experience for me to present artists on this website. We will use translators as much as possible. Through our friend Branka Babic, we have learned of Mico and give her much credit for his acquaintance. Also thanks to an Artist friend of Mico’s who is helping with translations.

Dear Sara,
I m very touched and honored with the way you presented me. This can be done only by someone who was himself an artist. I’m not just someone else’s English, but I am not acquainted with any electronics, but to boldly go into teaching, we bring added joy of life, and only sometimes frustration. My friends will later translate what I wrote here. I just wanted to Casimi not to be the warmest thank you and express my joy in life I know that you exist. You dedicate this song was written back in the 1967th year:
Mico

Hi Sara,
Your efforts couldn’t than bring some “change” to my time and life organization. Not only Mico & Sergio, but a few others who you do not know, were “infected” by my Adlander germ
and it is easier to support them if I make steps to “repatriate”.
Last night Mico was back from his artistic tour over the North of Serbia and during the day he will provide me what we have lost in his disordered delivery.
We will translate as soon as possible.
Friend, thanks for all what you are doing, as for art as for the newbies. My both friends are in AWE with you. And I like this Mico’s feature very much.
Hugs and love to you and family!

All what could I say is: GREAT & thank you!!!
Mico’s ultimately loyal – but grammatically harmful translator, and your old good friend Branka here
.
I like very much all changes you made here . Like always, you did a great job and my heart is smiling and shining from joy and gratitude. I am trying to find Mico, but it is not an easy task. Hope he would appear soon to enjoy in what you have done. Knowing him – I could imagine his reaction. Mico is to me … much more than words could say. In this entire world, this great man and artist really is something else.
This would be fun to read my words under his pics and name. But this professor, actor, poet, novelist, dramatist, critics, essayist, ethnologist and humanist in each possible sense, somehow has refused to learn English, even as good as I did
)). So, his friends Dean and Nemanja and I would give our best to support your and Mico’s share.
Sara, I would be back later with Mico’s words, and with a few sentences more about him. This is most hilarious man on the entire globe, and I have tones of unforgettable stories to share.
Once more, thanks for all your efforts and just, SARA THANKS FOR BEING YOU!
Love,
Branka

Dear Sara,
I am very touched and feel honored by the way you have introduced me and my works here. It only could being done this way by an artistic soul. I am not only “foreign” to English language, but also to entire electronic stuff, which I am trying to get to know, what brings additional joy into my life, and just sometimes a bit of frustration. My friends would translate later what I write now. I was just impatient with a possible delay to tell you my warmest thank you! My joy and gratitude to life for crisscrossing our paths is endless and it feels great even to know that you exist somewhere.
Here I dedicate you my poem written in 1967 . It’s title is MELANCHOLY but my helpers are not convinced to try to translate it.
MELANCHOLY
Life is infinitely melancholy desert
you come out of its dear shadows
And wind moves the heart and memories
Search toes are going Lute
And while the wind moves the vibrant soul
search and search seeks the soul in sight
whether someone is white in the distance again
With my deep bow, thou true lady
I bow to you dear Lady!

What would we do without our dreams? Here I am going to do something a little different also. I will interject a poem of mine in both Spanish and English.
Dream With Me
We shall meet, we shall embrace
in a world only we can face.
There is a life beyond this one
in dreams we fantasize but not alone.
I reach for you I feel your touch
in dreams so real that mean so much.
Separate worlds, dreams unite
so dream with me once again tonight.
Feel the magic in the air
reach for me and know I care.
Where do we go in our dreams
Is it fantasy or real as it seems?
A place where love and joys
are everyday as simple toys.
Tell no one you see beyond
a world of magic all our own.
Just enjoy the ecstasy of dreams
that travel far as on sunbeams
yet give so much pleasure
as we share this treasure.
I reach for you and you are here
in dreams so real and without fear.

Mico, I hope you don’t mind!

” The dreamer ” is a playful, more likely amorphous runner trough the dark night.Genderless and ageless – like poetry !
What an impression!
Liked both ( Mico’s and your ) poems very much.
