Why include this one? It grows everywhere and most of us have to cut it when we cut lawns. In just one place setting, a plant can be very attractive and add a different touch to your garden. The blooms look a lot like a small cone flower and has broad leaves.  It is a host plant for numerous butterflies and moths.  It can be gathered in spring and used as tender greens, cooked or in salads.
